Hi to disabled travellers!
I live in Jersey and I am very fortunate to live here. Jersey does try to help disabled residents and visitors. I walk using a Rollator (a sort of zimmer frame on wheels, with a seat). One of the best things about Jersey is that it does have lots of excellent disabled loos. However, you often need a Radar key to gain access to them. If you are a resident, you can obtain a Radar key from your Parish Hall. That is my tip for today – get a Radar key as soon as possible!
This new site is a really great idea.
When I am in town and see disabled visitors looking a bit ‘bewildered’ I ask if I can help. They are always grateful when I can give some advice. Sometimes I ask
where they are staying and if the facilities were good.
This is useful to pass on.
